Camp(s) Session II

Yes, it is now Session II in both camps. Well, almost for CampNaNo, but you know what, whatever.

So, I've determined that I'm not even halfway done with my original July novel, so I'm finishing that in August and throwing my old August plot into next Camp year. I already have a plan for November, unfortunately. So many ideas and so little time. Wait, have I told you that already? I don't think I did, but if I did, sorry about being so repetitive.

And in RL camp Session II is a million times better than Session I because my friend is there and then I have another camp friend and everyone's really nice except for this one kid that annoy's me and one of my counselor's I don't really like, but it's so much better and wow this is a really bad run on sentence. Sorry. But yeah, my friend who dropped out is here for Session II, which makes it more fun. And I have more camp friends. And this session, there's only 14 of us. Well, technically there's more people, but none of them have showed up yet. So it's 14 for now. It's nice.
And we're going to be doing this music thing were we lip sync to a song and then do a little dancish/acting out thing. It's going to be fun. And yeah, it's not as hot, and just generally better.

And now it is picture time.

That's one is hilarious.
Aaaand...

Yay! Okay, I tried other ones, but they didn't work, so maybe I'll come back later and get new ones.

30,000 Words in July

Yes, that is my amount of words currently. Isn't that awesome? I think it's pretty awesome. I should probably type more this morning because my friend is coming over for practically the whole day to swim and stuff. That should be fun. OH!!! I HAVEN'T SHOWN YOU THE SMILE SONG YET! I MUST DO THAT!!!

<iframe width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/RQWem0LpBEE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Did that work? I hope it did.

It's the best song ever. Just saying.

And yeah. I don't really know what else to say. Hi? Well, I'm going out to breakfast. Bye.

Edit: It didn't work. I shall link you to it instead. The song I was talking about is here. Click upon this my minions.

Titles are evil.

I hate titles. I truly do.

Anyways, I got over 20,000 words today, which is very exciting for me. 2/5 done with this month. And yes, I'm doing Camp in August too. Let's just hope I won't be too busy.

If you are confused by this, then go to my previous posts to be unconfused.

I found the website write-or-die. Or rather, I was finally not intimidated too much by it and caved in when the internet is distracting me. Now I can successfully write 1,000 words in 20 minutes. Yeah, that means I'm writing at 50wpm. I didn't calculate that until now, but wow. Good thing I'm a fast typist. So I have been very productive in the past couple of days, getting near 3,000 words a day. It's amazing. I love it. And I figured out how my plot would be wrapped up, which is really good.
I also found my August plot. I don't know if I said that already, but I did. It's very steampunk and I love it. I especially love the names of my people. I shall list them all now because they are awesome and make me very happy. But not the ones I already told you about.
Jaques's full name is Jaques Leon Preval. I love his name. So much.
My main character's mom's name is Cora Fidelia Wyrick Grey. I love that name. Very Brittish.
His dad's name is Marecellus Eldon Grey. Old sounding, and perfect for him.
His roomate's name is Jeptha Marsden. I love this name so much. It's kind of sad, but true. Jeptha. It just sounds so nice. Perfect for him.

So those are their names. I'll probably come up with some more later, but that's it for now.

Before I leave, I just want to mention that I've noticed a rise of people from Russia visiting my blog. I just wanted to say hi, assuming that at least a few of you speak English. I don't know any Russian at all, nor do I have the symbols. But, anyways, hi. *waves*

Bye now.

Camp(s)

You! You are distracting me from doing actual work! Stop that! I have stuff I need to get done!
Yes, that was a message from my brain to this website right here. Procrastination is ugh. Words no function. *has brain 'splosion*

Okay, now that that's out of me, I have stuff to tell you. I have entered two camps. I've also told you about both of them, but I'm going to tell you even more about both.
Okay, CampNaNo first. I hit 10,000 words so far and my plot has gone nowhere. I need it to go somewhere. I know what it is, I just haven't been able to get it in and it's going to be a bajillion more words than I need and *cries* I am hyper right now if you haven't noticed. You probably have though because my words are just spewing out of me and I'm doing a lot of run on sentences. So yeah, I made it to 10,000 words and have written nothing good, but my inner editor needs to shut up already. Yay. And I am also abusing the word okay in my story. It's really rather pathetic. I probably do that in real life too, but whatever.

Now, onto real world camp. That started today. And so, yeah. And maybe you're wondering how it was? Well, let's put it this way. The only person I knew ahead of time that was going was one of my friends that I've had since preschool. But five days before camp started, she dropped out. She just didn't want to do it. So I was there with 16 other kids in my grade that I didn't really know and had no friends and let's face it, it was just awful and I'm never going back ever again. Actually, I'm going back tomorrow since we're going bowling, which doesn't even make that much sense because I don't really like bowling, but I am. But after that, NEVER AGAIN.

Oh, and in other camp related news, I figured out what I was going to do for my August novel. I actually wrote up the plot in my July one (right now) because my Main Character was reading book synopsis(s? What's the plural of synopsis?) and I fell in love with one of them. My main character for that one is going to be named August Grey and going undercover as Lukas Naumann and there's going to be someone named Jaques in there and I love that name. I don't know why, but I do, and it's making me very happy at the moment. I have the french fry people (They're French, I just like calling them french fries) and the Brittish. And one psuedo-German person. Yeah. It's going to be awesome.

So, bye.

Vacations and Camps and Yeahs

I have been meaning to write this post for far too long and now it is time to sit down and DO IT.

But I've been busy, so yeah. And now I shall tell you why I was busy.

I went on vacation on Monday through Thursday and that was really fun. I took a bunch of cool pictures that I have yet to upload, and we just did a lot of fun things. And yeah, we got back at noon on Thursday and I was superbusy planning for writing.

And that writing happens to be CampNaNoWriMo. Remember NaNoWriMo from November? Well now there's a camp for it that's in July and August. And I'm doing it. I might do it in August too, but we'll see how July goes and see if I want to continue in August. So I had about a week to prepare for CampNaNo because I chose my plot a week before. Which required me doing some research. And most of that week I was on vacation. So I had to use my mom's iphone for most of the research. Which means the next time she goes onto Google she's going to have some very strange topics coming up when she tries to type anything in. Haha... yeah.

And yeah. Yesterday my friend came over to go swimming and that was pretty fun. And she's coming over again today. So I would have 0 time to get any writing done today. So that meant that last night I got all my writing for today done with. Does that mean I was up until 1 in the morning writing incoherent sentences and rambles that had nothing to do with my plot at all. Yup. Does that mean I woke up at 7 to a depressing dream and got only 6 hours of sleep? Well, yes, but I don't always have depressing dreams when I stay up late. The dream I had just happened to be really sad. Yeah.

So that has been my week. I've also been looking up NaNo helpers and some of them seem to work really, really well. Particularly the one that suggested to look at it as doing little 100 word parts and then going up to do a break or do something and do it again 10 more times a day until you have 1000 words. I actually need more of 1800 words, so I'll just be doing it 18 times a day. No problem. This is going to be fun. Probably a very sleep deprived summer, but sleep is for losers.
