Bloggedy-Blog-Blog Post

I am writing a blog post. Why am I writing this post? Because I have writer's block? Because my nose is cold? Because I feel like it?
While my nose is cold, and I do have composer's block, it's because I just feel like it. So yay? Bleh, whatever. Um... I was going to say something. What was I going to say? Gareoahgpiewoaghwegio! Silly brain, you're supposed to remember things, not forget! I think I am tired because I am saying weird and very random things. I am also not really aware that I am tired, which happens when I am tired. And my hands hurt. They are very silly hands.
I am rambling. I think that is very silly. I am saying the word silly a lot. That's probably not very good. Maybe I'll go find a thesaurus. Hmmm... What does is say for silly under the thesaurus? Well, the little thesaurus says foolish   and silliness is nonsense. I don't think that's right.
The big one has SILLINESS: foolishness, absurdity, craziness, dottiness, folly, inanity, insanity, preposterousness, senselessness, witlessness
Silly says asinine, fatuous, foolish, nitwitted, sheepheaded, unwitty, weak-headed, weak-minded, witless, giddy, bird-witted, dizzy, empty-headed, featherbrained, flightly, harebrained, light-headed, rattlebrained, scatterbrained, absurd, crzy, fantastic, insane, loony, preposterous, sappy, wacky
That's slightly better, but it didn't quite get the essence of silliness. Hmph. I want a rhyming dictionary. Really, really badly! I need one or I shall perish! Perish I tell you! Hmm, I wonder what all the other words for death are. Let's look that up.
Death: the end or the ending of life, curtains, decease, defunction, demise, dissolution, grim reaper, (the) Pale Horse, passing, quietus, silence, sleep, annihilation, ending, expiration, extinction, grave, termination, crossing the bar
Deathful/Deathlike: deathly, corpselike, ghostlike, ghostly, deadened, deadly, deathlike, cadaverous, spectral
Deathly: suggesting death, haggard, wasted, ghastly, grisly, grusome, macabre, appaling, dreadful, horrible, deady, fatal, lethal, mortal, mortiferous, pestilent, pestilential

Mortiferous. I rather like that word. I think I shall use it from now on. Mortiferous, mortiferous, mortiferous. It has a nice ring to it.

Okay, bye now.

Lily isn't feeling well and is talking in third person

Yeah, her stomach hurts. Badly. And her head isn't all that great either. And her eyes keep watering for no apparent reason. It's weird.
So she's writing a blog post to distract herself from it. And for some reason, she is writing this in third person. She doesn't really know why.
Anyways, she wants to get pictures of doodles and things that she has drawn up on the blog, but she doesn't have enough space on her computer to upload the pictures. Does anyone have any advice for her? Actually, she'll figure it out. Or maybe she just won't upload them.
Lily really doesn't know why she's doing this. Other than to distract herself. Writing usually does that for her. She should have some ice. But she is kind of cold, so she doesn't want ice. She just wants to go to sleep. Also, she wants to read her really good book called Postcards From No Man's Land.  She thinks it is a very good book. She recommends it to anyone and everyone.
She is kind of bored. She also wishes that she had someone to talk to. But she will have to just deal with talking to herself. Her head is really starting to hurt now. She tries to ignore it, but it doesn't completely work. She needs to sleep. She hasn't been getting enough lately. She keeps waking up in the middle of the night. She hasn't been dreaming much lately either. She misses that. She especially misses her plot dreams. She always loved those. She is stopping typing now. She says bye.

So...

Well, my last post was my 70th. *throws up balloons and confetti into the air* Whoo!
Anyways, it's April break now for me. And I'm going to be meeting up with my cousins tomorrow, so that should be fun.
Also, it's my dad's birthday today. I have to make him a cake. That should take up my entire day.
And Sunday is Easter, which means I shall be busy with Easter-y stuff. Yeah.
Why am I blogging right now? I seem to be just listing things I need to do. Maybe this is just a reminder for myself. If so, I need to remind myself to do laundry.
Uh... I do not know what to say. Maybe if I just ramble on about nothing that will be okay. Even though there's no point to this in the first place.
I'm bored. Bored, bored, bored. I need my dad to upload my pictures from DC.
Oh, while you're here reading this, I need you to help me decide what to write for next year's NaNoWriMo. Some of the plots are more detailed than others.

Okay, Plot 1:
Basically, it's the English notebook of MC*. In it are essays, short stories, etc. All of these things show you what kind of person MC is. I promise, it is cooler than it sounds.

Plot 2:
In the (perhaps not-so-distant?) future, the government begins micro chipping children at the age of five. The reason given is one of safety - a lost, kidnapped, or runaway child can be quickly found. While it's not required by law, the chipping is strongly encouraged. Of course, there's a small faction of parents who are distrustful of the whole thing, and refuse to get their children micro chipped.
Some time later, children who have not been micro chipped start disappearing. Not in droves, but just here and there. The government, while sympathetic, says it's simply an unfortunate result of not having the microchip - it's impossible to find where they are. But, of course, the government knows more than they say they do....
I figured at this point it could go one of two ways. A) the government is secretly getting rid of non-micro chipped children in order to scare everyone into getting the microchips or B) somehow not getting micro chipped is a good thing and the government is taking all the non-micro chipped children and utilizing them somehow.

Plot 3:

A new apartment complex is going up behind MC's house/neighborhood. When MC and his/her friend (unnamed) walk by, they see a group of protesters rallying outside the complex construction site. As he/she's walking by this site with his/her friend, she sees a cord dangling from the air. He/she looks up towards the sky and it appears to not be connected to anything, like an inverted beanstalk from Jack and the Beanstalk. Curiosity gets the better of him/her and he/she and his/her friend go to pull on it.
An elevator comes down before them and opens up.
They look around and see the protesters are too busy doing their thing to notice this thing coming down from above the clouds. They turn back and debate whether to go in or not. For whatever reason (a dare, a challenge, etc?) the two get in. There are no buttons. Just a window.
Doors shut, elevator gets pulled up into the sky. They just keep going, high above the clouds... and when they look out the window they see what looks like a series of buildings constructed ON the clouds, stacked on top of the other. This elevator brings them onto the second highest level and they step out.
A voice rings out down the long, empty hall, stating the rules. They're very simple:
1. Try and find a way out
2. Don't die in the process
They turn around and the elevator and the door are gone. It's just a wall.
Locked in and with only one direction to go, they start moving. Quickly, they see why the second rule was 'don't die'. They come across multiple obstacles that are placed in rooms and down halls bent on ending their lives. They run into people along the way that are facing the same fate. They end up growing into teams and fighting together to survive.

Plot 4:
People awaken in a dimly lit cellar with absolutely no recollection of how they got there and only one apparent thing in common; they had each received a confirmation email, allowing them to take part in what was said to be the most eagerly awaited reality TV show. Soon, they learn that hundreds of people are betting on their lives. Literally. A website has been set up online with live web cam feeds and people are able to place bets on who will live, who will die and who, if anyone, will survive to the end. It’s a battle of life and death with daily tasks set up to kill. Will they find out why they’re here? Or who brought them here? Will they live or die? It’s all a part of The Game. (By the way, you lose.)

Plot 5:

YOUR CHILD APPLICATION HAS BEEN REJECTED
When child poverty in [country] - maybe this is after a disaster or big war and society has been shook up or something - went into the tens of millions, the government (or maybe it's more than one nation) enacted a law that stated you could not have children unless you earned over a certain amount per year. (Higher rates for more children, obviously.) If you were eligible for a child but then went back under the limit, they would be taken off you. Society wasn't much different to now apart from this, maybe a bit harsher etc.
#1 - a man who desperately wants a child but doesn't earn enough to do so, and his desperate attempts for a promotion at work, etc. But then his girlfriend left him because she was fed up of this obsession. Does he get his girlfriend back? What about his promotion at work? What if she comes back but doesn't want children? Does he fall in love with someone else, like-minded?
#2 - a millionaire who would love to have children but is unable for whatever reason. They decide to give up on having their own child at this point and to adopt instead. But because of the laws, the number of children up for adoption has drastically lowered, as people in similar situations to the millionaire adopt them. What sort of child or children do they eventually end up with? How do these (probably older) children adapt to their new 'parent' and radically different lifestyle? What about their old life? Did they have parents who fell below the minimum line? What happens if those parents earn over again and want their children back?
#3 - a teenage girl who becomes pregnant and decides she wants to keep the baby. Since she is still dependent on her parents, they would be the ones who would be tested. She's terrified that her child will be taken away from her. What if it is? What will she do? Whom will she go to for help? Or, if she is able to keep the baby, what happens in the future when she wants to leave home and start her own life? Will her child have to stay with her parents until she earns enough money? How does the boy's father factor into all this? What do her parents think?

Plot 6:
Secret apocalypse long ago that was sworn to secrecy so the people of the future wouldn’t worry is being unearthed.

Plot 7: This one is more about a person, but whatever.

-A character, completely and utterly analytical. Even within his mind. Written in first person.
-Doesn’t talk much with people, so reader gets to see more inside his mind
-He’s more likely to listen in to other people’s conversations quietly and make an analysis based on it
-He thinks in metaphors and doesn't socialize well
-most of story takes place in the past, with brief glimpses into a future where he is in a mental hospital.
-thought to be a patient based on how he acts in the present time; in actuality, he works there and works with people. This isn't found out until the end.
-He was changed somehow to connect better with people; he connects with the mental hospital people for his job. He can connect with people in general, but connects with the mental patients because of his previous ways of being analytical
-He still is analytical and he still remembers exacts in his past; he retells it as if he still acted the same, but he doesn't

Plot 8:
A time traveler tries to prevent WW3... by making the Nazis win WW2.

Alright, that's all of them that I am considering doing. All but the first one were taken from the NaNoWriMo Adopt A Plot board. If you could tell me which one I should do, that would be very helpful.

SKULGIRL YOU MUST LOOK AT THIS!

Because...
a. I have a new argument for Lilit/Deryn
b. I keep spelling because wrong. I should stop trying to type it so fast.
c. Other blahliness

Anyways, I'm not going to tell you my new argument for Lilit/Deryn until tomorrow at school. I just wanted to make sure not to forget it, because otherwise I probably would. And I'm also not going to talk about b anymore because I think that would be boring.
So onto c.
I went to the library today and got Leviathan and Behemoth. And another book, but that is not relevant to what I am about to type.
I am rereading the books (Leviathan and Behemoth) so I can get the characters right for when I write my Lilit/Deryn fanfic. I refuse to have (badly) written characters that are nothing like themselves. Plus, I needed to pick up Deryn's special Scottish phrases and such. And yeah.
So I'm reading it the second time and remembering that I kind of hated the first half of it when I first read it and now I realize that it's much better this time. (And yeah, that was a bad run on sentence. Sorry.) I guess it's just better because I understand what's going on.
Yeah, that's about it. Sorry this post was mainly for Skulgirl. I will come up with something more interesting later. Maybe. I honestly don't know. And I am rambling. I should stop. Bye.

More of Me Playing Piano

Yes, shameless advertisement. Anyways, I'm playing After The Fall by We As Human. If you don't already know it (you probably don't) then listen to the actual one.
Also, I hesitate a lot when playing this. It's rather annoying. Note to self: Quit it.
And the sound quality is still really bad. Maybe it'll be better on my keyboard.

Aaaaaaaaaaaand what is with that space there mister blogger? And why can I not get rid of it?

Anyways, here's the video. It's going to be tiny, but that is not an issue because there's nothing to watch, just listen to.

I have a present for you Skulgirl

BAM! Lilit and Deryn getting married! MWAHAHAHA!
Don't you love me for that?

Okay, so we went on our field trip to D.C. I shared a room with Skulgirl and another girl. There was a seekret door that opened up to our other friends room so we could go between rooms in the middle of the night without detection. It was pretty cool. Skulgirl and I fought over the picture above and the complications with it the entire trip and now I need the next book to prove to her that Lilit should be with Deryn forever.
We were on the news because of bus complications, so when we got back to school there were news reporters there. It was fun.

That is all my brain can squeeze out for now, as I am tired and hyper at the same time. Bienvenidos a la casa de mi cabeza.

Field Trip and Other Stuff

So, I have a field trip tomorrow. You probably already know this. Or maybe you don't. It depends on who you are. And it's overnight for a few days. So I won't be blogging. I probably wouldn't have been blogging anyways, but whatever.
And I am nervous. Not as nervous as I was a few minutes ago, but that's because I'm not thinking about it very much. So let's keep it that way. I'm not going to talk about it until after the trip from now on.

Anyways, there are two new kids in our school. They're twins. Apparently the boy is really shy, but the girl doesn't seem to be shy at all. I don't have any classes with them at all. It's kind of annoying, since they're in the other part of the grade.

Okay, that's all I have for tonight. Off to piano. Bye.

News and Olds

So, as you can probably tell by the date that is written for today, yesterday was April Fools Day.

I happen to not like April Fools Day very much. Why? Because I never have any good pranks or anything at all. And the entire day, I have to watch out for people lying to me and/or playing some sort of trick on me. I can't trust anyone on April Fools Day. No one. So the entire day kind of is horrible for me.

Anyways, remember the festival thing that I blogged about a little while ago? Well, I got five out of five stars on that. Which is pretty cool, because I got that last year and if I get five stars next year, I get a trophy. I was unaware that they gave out trophies for things like piano until the other day, but it's cool. It sounds cooler to say that I got a trophy for piano than participating in an after school tennis thing, I suppose. And yes, when I was five I did get a trophy just for participating in an after school tennis thing. It was kind of stupid.

My cousins and grandparents on my dad's side came over yesterday. We went out for dinner and that was kind of fun. There are two cousins on that side, one who's about my sister's age and one who's about my age. The my aged one is kind of annoying, but whenever he says something really stupid, I just roll my eyes or ignore him, and he stops which is good.

So yeah, that was my past day(s).
